The Design Library is delighted to announce the relocation of our London offices to a new studio archive in the heart of the capital. Our new space - double the size - is ideally positioned on the edge of Fitzrovia. We are moments away from the bustling retail centre of Regent Street, Oxford Circus and the vibrant streets of Soho.
You will discover many hidden treasures tucked away on a calmer backstreet on the first floor of an old Edwardian shopfront. Early visitors have been wowed by the high ceilings and spectacular natural light—a perfect setting to view designs.
Our collections, dating from 1750 to the present, include original artworks, documentary fabrics, wallpapers and yarn dyes and have now been expanded to include an eclectic mix of embellishments, embroideries, techniques and jacquards.
We have 80,000 designs, carefully curated from New York's vast holdings sourced from across the globe and ready to inspire.
We welcome you to visit our new and improved home:

Meetings are available by appointment only, either in person or virtually.
We also visit our clients in Europe and the North of England regularly with a wide selection of designs showcasing the range our archive offers.
